There's a new fly in the ointment.

Time Magazine had a recent article entitled "Is Liberal Catholicism Dead?".

I think just asking the question gives one the answer. Here's what one says:

"For a couple of generations, progressivism was an [important] way to be Catholic."
Then he adds, "But I think the end of an era is here."

We can only hope.

The Little Cut-Up (1949)

Another Noveltoon shown on the France 5 channel (La Cinquième) eight years ago, and rarely seen before (or since) in such a good quality print. "The Little Cut-Up" is released on January 21 1949, and as you can guess from the screenshots, it gives an unique spin on the well known story about young George Washington and the cherry tree.
